Great overnight train ride - new found friends on the trip from all over the world - great stuff.....while exploring city centre in Amsterdam ran into a couple we had gone on the Ultimate 6 hr tour in Prague with...they weren;t having such a good experience as their accommodation was 6 kms out and buses were on strike, so we were able to point them in the direction of a couple of interesting places we had discovered....fortunately our accomodation is right in the thick of the red light district, just down the road from Dam Square - great location for sight seeing, food, drink and also central train station and tour pick up points.
Had an amazing pancake meal tonight (and wine) then found Anne Frank House and Tulip Museum which we may do on Thursday.
Have heard the guys are exploring Ramsey on IoM today by bus, as the racing is every second day. Cold for them at abour 11 degrees, we had a cloudy day but still up around 20, so all good. Lots to see - funny smells as we walk past coffee shops - NOT coffee!! May have to investigate that!?
16 hour overnight train trip catching up tonight! Nite xx
