A blog so our girls know how their inheritance is being spent! A trip celebrating Robyne turning 50 this year & great to be sharing some of the journey with our good friends from the Naki, Wendy (also born 1961) and Les Marshall. The girls will be on the loose in Europe for the early part of June while the blokes go to The Isle of Man for the craziness of the TT racing. We are hoping you will check in now and then to see what we have been up too.....

Tour of Countryside
Organised after having breaky at an Argentinian cafe, though we are still in Amsterdam!? Off on a bus tour that took us out in the country to see Zaanse Schans, a Windmill Village and the Cheese Farm. Tasted some delicious cheese and wished my pack wasn't so full! Resisted the temptation to buy some rounds to take home. Back on the bus and off to Volenham, by the seaside- cool fresh wind, still cloudy, but no rain. Enjoyed freshly made waffle with strawberry for lunch and poked around in the little shops along the waterfront. Sailed over to the historical village of Marken (Island) and watched as clogs were made. Strolled around the lovely little homes with clipped gardens, lace window hangings and oranaments in gardens. Back to the bustling city by 2pm and off to explore the floating flower markets - amazing, but alas though the signs says we will send to anywhere in the world, this does not include Australia or NZ, so no tulip bulb buying for us - or cannabis seeds or starter packs!?
