Bath

Heaps to do in Bath - Our Hotel is 10 minutes walk from centre of city, very scenic.  We wandered through the Roman Baths yesterday morning and more or less had the place to ourselves.  By about 11.30 when we passed it again there were huge lines outside to get in, so going early was a good choice.  Les led us on a walk around various lookouts and a local had pointed us in the direction of surrounding hills where rows and rows of Georgian Buildings were a site to see.  The little communal gardens, leafy walkways, and beautifully manicured gardens were lovely.  Loved the walk along the river, with the canal boats docked - view of the city behind.

Never too sure what we will get when ordering food....Sally Lunn buns aren't as we know it and neither is the Ploughmans Platter!  Nevertheless, we are not starving!
After dinner we joined a Comedy Walk and were entertained for the next hour and a half at various locations throughout the city.  Very clever and the crowd of approximately 60 people of all ages from all over the world represented.
