This afternoon after having our own ploughman's lunch in the park, we travelled to Stonehenge. When there, one of us thought it was awesome, one of us - not so! We had a great bus driver/tour guide who gave us lots of information on the way with a quirky sense of humour. Burial mounds, thatched cottages, Westbury white horse chalk hill carving, and of course Stonehenge filled the afternoon.
This morning after another substantial breakfast, walked to town and explored the Avon River on a canal boat cruise....unfortuately with the noise from the engine and where we were sitting, didn't hear a lot of the information, but enjoyed the river and another view of the city.
Dinner in town and walk up the steep hill home to pack up ready for a day of travelling tomorrow. Ross and Les - to the Isle of Man (IoM) while Wendy and Robyne travel to Prague for a couple of days.
