Train ride and a day in Kutna Hora

Checked out of our accomodation after 3 nights and locked luggage in the train station, ready for our 6.30pm overnight train to Amsterdam....in the meantime, filled the day with a hour train journey through the countryside to Kutna Hora....home of the Bone Chapel and many other gothic buildings. Another very hot day and we were pleased of a bus ride from the Bone Chapel to town which was 3 kms away.
Easily filled the day and returned to Prague to find an enormous thunderstorm happening - first lot of rain we have seen and the huge train station was leaking like a sieve! Kept dry in a wine bar while waiting to see what platform we would be travelling on.

Overnight quarters were cosy - to say the least. Shared with 3 young people from South Korea who looked shocked to be sharing with 2 old ladies, a our 6th room mate was a young lady who was keen to get some sleep and disembark at 5am to be at work at 7! We travelled to Amsterdam, arriving at 10am, in time to drop our luggage at our accomodation for the next three sleeps and explore the city...Wow!
